Are you looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation? Ready to move in a new direction?
It takes courage to ask for help. I applaud you in taking the first step. Whether or not you are new to psychotherapy, please know you are not alone. While seeking assistance is not easy, it is the first step towards growth, empowerment and well-being.
My goal as a therapist is to use a collaborative style to help uncover your true potential. We can’t change difficult situations from the past. We can work together to resolve current challenges you are facing.
I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
Making sense of the past, building strength for the future.
Perhaps you’ve been searching online and recognize yourself in terms like PTSD, OCD, or anxiety—and now you’re wondering, what next? That’s where I come in. My role is to help you make sense of your experiences, clarify what you’re going through, and support you in moving forward in ways that strengthen your relationships, improve your work life, and enhance your overall sense of balance and self-care.
Together, we’ll focus on practical tools and deeper insight, so you can feel more grounded, confident, and in charge of your own healing.
Many of my clients grew up in families affected by abuse, addiction, emotional neglect, or divorce. Unresolved family-of-origin dynamics can quietly shape how we respond to stress, conflict, and intimacy. Even as high-functioning adults, early emotional wounds often lead to shame, self-sabotage, and strained relationships.
I specialize in helping people uncover and shift these long-standing patterns. My approach blends Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) with other evidence-based treatments to promote healing, emotional resilience, and lasting change. CFT helps clients move away from harsh self-criticism and toward greater self-understanding and self-kindness.
I work with my clients using a team approach — you are the experts on your life and needs, and I can provide the objective and professional perspective that can assist you in sorting things out. I find people, their strengths, challenges, and differences endlessly fascinating. I feel honored when someone engages me to accompany them on the therapy journey.
Looking for the right therapist can be trying and exhausting, especially during difficult times of life. You have taken the first step, often the hardest. I can help with the next step: we can talk by phone about your needs, and see if we may be a good fit.
